Oprah, Michael Pollan & Cargill’s Nicole Johnson-Hoffman on “Oprah.”

For those of you living in time zones where Oprah’s television show has not yet aired, you may want to tune in or use a recorder on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011’s “The Oprah Show.”  Oprah and her 378 staffers are trying to go one week without any meat, milk or animal products – vegan, not just vegetarian.

One of her guests today are Michael Pollan, the writer who things he knows just how to restructure agriculture away from today’s modern production, quality and safety powerhouse to a nation of folks puttering around in their backyard gardens.

Luckily, she has another guest, Nicole Johnson-Hoffman, manager of Cargill’s Fort Morgan, CO. plant.

So check your local listings and see what Oprah – the celebrity who’s had it out for cattlemen before – has to say this time about beef and animal agriculture.
